Installation/REinstallation Issue:: Parallels Plesk Panel 9.5 for Windows — Error 1713. Parallels Plesk Panel 9.5 for Windows cannot install one of its required products. Contact your technical support group.

Hi Guys,

This time i have come with a post that might help you if you are installing/reinstallaing Plesk and get a frequent error while running setup.
This error is quiet different and if you search around Google you will found different solutions but none would work.

Error is nothing and doesn't related to MSI installer module, this is a Plesk nonsense error.

Solution::

Locate to the following registry.


[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Products]

Under this locate all Plesk entries and remove them.

Now run the installation and it should go smoothly without any error.
